GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a licensed guest house by licensees under the Tamil Nadu Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1966, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintending Archaeologist, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the running of a licensed guest house shall furnish Form V to the Government of Tamil Nadu within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the running of a licensed guest house shall make an application in Form V to the Government of Tamil Nadu within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a licensed guest house is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
