GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a firing range by licensees of a firing range under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the commanding officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall furnish Form E to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall make an application in Form E to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a firing range is undertaken, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Karnataka.
