Chennai, dated the 15th September, 2015

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a shelter home by shelter homes under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Case Worker, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every shelter home carrying on the running of a shelter home shall furnish Form I to the Commission within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every shelter home carrying on the running of a shelter home shall make an application in Form I to the Commission within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a shelter home is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
