GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a gymnasium by operators of a gymnasium under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Compliance Officer, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a gymnasium carrying on the running of a gymnasium shall furnish Form A to the Government of Goa within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a gymnasium carrying on the running of a gymnasium shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Goa within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a gymnasium is undertaken, and the Government of Goa shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Goa.
