GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a stadium by operators of a stadium under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chaperone, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall furnish Form C to the Sports Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall make an application in Form C to the Sports Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a stadium is undertaken, and the Sports Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Goa.
