GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Fishing in a village tank by lessees of a village fishery under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall furnish Form 8 to the Gram Panchayat within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall make an application in Form 8 to the Gram Panchayat within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a village tank is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
