GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2013, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Charity Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall furnish Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within three hundred and sixty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of donations for a charity is undertaken, and the Deputy Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
