GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The publication of textbooks by publishers of textbooks under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Schools, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every publisher of textbooks carrying on the publication of textbooks shall furnish Form C to the Council within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every publisher of textbooks carrying on the publication of textbooks shall make an application in Form C to the Council within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the publication of textbooks is undertaken, and the Council shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
