ORDER

Subject: Service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Collector, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall furnish Form G to the Civil Defence Controller within three days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall make an application in Form G to the Civil Defence Controller within three days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service as a civil defence volunteer is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within three days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
