GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The manufacture of cosmetics by manufacturers of cosmetics under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Drugs Controller, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer of cosmetics carrying on the manufacture of cosmetics shall furnish Form 21 to the National Medical Commission within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of cosmetics carrying on the manufacture of cosmetics shall make an application in Form 21 to the National Medical Commission within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of cosmetics is undertaken, and the National Medical Commission shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
