GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The practice of pharmacy by pharmacists under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Drugs Controller, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every pharmacist carrying on the practice of pharmacy shall furnish Form 20 to the Licensing Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every pharmacist carrying on the practice of pharmacy shall make an application in Form 20 to the Licensing Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the practice of pharmacy is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Karnataka.
