GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 1 to the Board of Revenue within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 1 to the Board of Revenue within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Puducherry.
