GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The care of children in an institution by child care institutions under the Tamil Nadu Registration of Marriages Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Conciliation Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every child care institution carrying on the care of children in an institution shall furnish Form VIII to the Maintenance Tribunal within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every child care institution carrying on the care of children in an institution shall make an application in Form VIII to the Maintenance Tribunal within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the care of children in an institution is undertaken, and the Maintenance Tribunal shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
