GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of defence works by contractors for defence works under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Provost Marshal, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall furnish Form B to the Station Commander within three days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall make an application in Form B to the Station Commander within three days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of defence works is undertaken, and the Station Commander shall dispose of it within three days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
