GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The discharge of effluent into a stream by person discharging effluent into a streams under the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Engineer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person discharging effluent into a stream carrying on the discharge of effluent into a stream shall furnish Form B to the Canal Officer within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person discharging effluent into a stream carrying on the discharge of effluent into a stream shall make an application in Form B to the Canal Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the discharge of effluent into a stream is undertaken, and the Canal Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala.
