GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The keeping of animals by keepers of animals within the municipal limits under the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sanitary Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of animals within the municipal limits carrying on the keeping of animals shall furnish Form F to the Standing Committee within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of animals within the municipal limits carrying on the keeping of animals shall make an application in Form F to the Standing Committee within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of animals is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
