GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Dealing in antiquities by dealers in antiquities under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registering Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer in antiquities carrying on dealing in antiquities shall furnish Form VIII to the Heritage Committee within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in antiquities carrying on dealing in antiquities shall make an application in Form VIII to the Heritage Committee within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in antiquities is undertaken, and the Heritage Committee shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
