GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a rural water supply scheme by operators of a rural water supply scheme under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rural water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall furnish Form 7 to the Gram Panchayat within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rural water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall make an application in Form 7 to the Gram Panchayat within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a rural water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of West Bengal.
