Chennai, dated the 10th August, 2013

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assessor, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall furnish Form F to the Corporation within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall make an application in Form F to the Corporation within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a parking lot is undertaken, and the Corporation shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
