GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Charity Commissioner, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall furnish Form D to the Commissioner of Endowments within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form D to the Commissioner of Endowments within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a dharamshala is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Endowments shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Odisha.
