GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a waqf by mutawallis under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Survey Commissioner, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall furnish Form D to the Commissioner of Endowments within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall make an application in Form D to the Commissioner of Endowments within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a waqf is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Endowments shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Odisha.
