GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Karnataka Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form D to the Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form D to the Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
