GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The performance of rituals in a temple by archakas under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar of Societies, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall furnish Form C to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every archaka carrying on the performance of rituals in a temple shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the performance of rituals in a temple is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
