GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Station Fire Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall furnish Form D to the National Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form D to the National Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of hazardous chemicals is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra.
