GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sponsoring of contract farming by contract farming sponsors under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Insecticide Inspector, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall furnish Form A to the Government of Punjab within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Punjab within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sponsoring of contract farming is undertaken, and the Government of Punjab shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Punjab.
