GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The extraction of ground water by person drawing ground waters under the Karnataka Ground Water (Regulation and Control of Development and Management) Act, 2011, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Junior Engineer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person drawing ground water carrying on the extraction of ground water shall furnish Form G to the Ground Water Authority within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person drawing ground water carrying on the extraction of ground water shall make an application in Form G to the Ground Water Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the extraction of ground water is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Karnataka.
