Puducherry, dated the 12th October, 2011

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall furnish Form 7 to the Collector within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 7 to the Collector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Puducherry.
