GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The claiming of dependants' benefit by dependants of a deceased worker under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Branch Manager, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dependant of a deceased worker carrying on the claiming of dependants' benefit shall furnish Form 6 to the Welfare Board within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dependant of a deceased worker carrying on the claiming of dependants' benefit shall make an application in Form 6 to the Welfare Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the claiming of dependants' benefit is undertaken, and the Welfare Board shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
