GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Officer, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall furnish Form A to the Waqf Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form A to the Waqf Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a dharamshala is undertaken, and the Waqf Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Odisha.
