GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The carriage of goods by road by transport operators under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Motor Vehicles Inspector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transport operator carrying on the carriage of goods by road shall furnish Form 2 to the State Transport Appellate Tribunal within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every transport operator carrying on the carriage of goods by road shall make an application in Form 2 to the State Transport Appellate Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carriage of goods by road is undertaken, and the State Transport Appellate Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Karnataka.
