GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of relief works by contractors for relief works under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Civil Defence Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall furnish Form C to the National Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall make an application in Form C to the National Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of relief works is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
