GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Work in the unorganised sector by unorganised workers under the Kerala Headload Workers Act, 1978, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Branch Manager, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every unorganised worker carrying on work in the unorganised sector shall furnish Form 5 to the Employees' Insurance Court within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every unorganised worker carrying on work in the unorganised sector shall make an application in Form 5 to the Employees' Insurance Court within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which work in the unorganised sector is undertaken, and the Employees' Insurance Court shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Kerala.
