GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of Panchayat taxes by collectors of a Panchayat tax under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Development Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every collector of a Panchayat tax carrying on the collection of Panchayat taxes shall furnish Form 5 to the Zila Parishad within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of a Panchayat tax carrying on the collection of Panchayat taxes shall make an application in Form 5 to the Zila Parishad within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of Panchayat taxes is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Rajasthan.
