GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 1 to the State Government within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 1 to the State Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
