GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Waqf Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall furnish Form A to the Registrar of Societies within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Societies within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the hereditary management of a temple is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
