GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The claiming of compensation by interested persons under the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every interested person carrying on the claiming of compensation shall furnish Form 3 to the Estate Officer within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every interested person carrying on the claiming of compensation shall make an application in Form 3 to the Estate Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the claiming of compensation is undertaken, and the Estate Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
