GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The business of a co-operative society by co-operative societies under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every co-operative society carrying on the business of a co-operative society shall furnish Form A to the Board within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative society carrying on the business of a co-operative society shall make an application in Form A to the Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a co-operative society is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Maharashtra.
