GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The engagement of employees through an immediate employer by principal employers under the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Branch Manager, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every principal employer carrying on the engagement of employees through an immediate employer shall furnish Form 5 to the Employees' Insurance Court within forty-two days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every principal employer carrying on the engagement of employees through an immediate employer shall make an application in Form 5 to the Employees' Insurance Court within forty-two days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the engagement of employees through an immediate employer is undertaken, and the Employees' Insurance Court shall dispose of it within forty-two days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra.
