GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall furnish Form 12 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Punjab.
