GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The scrapping of motor vehicles by scrapping facilities under the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Transport Commissioner, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every scrapping facility carrying on the scrapping of motor vehicles shall furnish Form 2 to the Highway Administration within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every scrapping facility carrying on the scrapping of motor vehicles shall make an application in Form 2 to the Highway Administration within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the scrapping of motor vehicles is undertaken, and the Highway Administration shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Kerala.
