GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sale of liquor for consumption on the premises by bar licensees under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Commissioner of Excise, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall furnish Form D to the Government of West Bengal within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall make an application in Form D to the Government of West Bengal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises is undertaken, and the Government of West Bengal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of West Bengal.
