GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 7 to the Board of Revenue within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 7 to the Board of Revenue within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Goa.
