GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The command of a ship by masters under the Maharashtra Maritime Board Act, 1996, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Principal Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every master carrying on the command of a ship shall furnish Form 2 to the Registrar of Ships within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every master carrying on the command of a ship shall make an application in Form 2 to the Registrar of Ships within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the command of a ship is undertaken, and the Registrar of Ships shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Maharashtra.
