GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The bottling of water by bottlers of water under the Tamil Nadu Groundwater (Development and Management) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Junior Engineer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bottler of water carrying on the bottling of water shall furnish Form G to the Government of Tamil Nadu within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bottler of water carrying on the bottling of water shall make an application in Form G to the Government of Tamil Nadu within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the bottling of water is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
