GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a cinema by operators of a cinema within the municipal limits under the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Health Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a cinema within the municipal limits carrying on the running of a cinema shall furnish Form G to the Town Vending Committee within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a cinema within the municipal limits carrying on the running of a cinema shall make an application in Form G to the Town Vending Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a cinema is undertaken, and the Town Vending Committee shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
