GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The production of films by producers of films under the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every producer of films carrying on the production of films shall furnish Form VI to the Registering Authority within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every producer of films carrying on the production of films shall make an application in Form VI to the Registering Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the production of films is undertaken, and the Registering Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Karnataka.
