GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The running of a rice mill in a village by operators of a rice mill in a village under the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1962, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Panchayat Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall furnish Form 6 to the Director of Panchayats within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall make an application in Form 6 to the Director of Panchayats within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a rice mill in a village is undertaken, and the Director of Panchayats shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Maharashtra.
