GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The presentation of documents for registration by persons presenting a document for registration under the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Land Acquisition Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person presenting a document for registration carrying on the presentation of documents for registration shall furnish Form 4 to the Collector within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person presenting a document for registration carrying on the presentation of documents for registration shall make an application in Form 4 to the Collector within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the presentation of documents for registration is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Karnataka.
