GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Guard, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form G to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form G to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Punjab.
