GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand under the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall furnish Form 6 to the Gram Panchayat within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall make an application in Form 6 to the Gram Panchayat within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a village bus stand is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
